Image result for pyramid of success

Block 1: Industriousness
"There is no substitution for work. Worthwhile results come from hard work and careful planning."
When you are a industrious person, you work hard and are always doing something to keep you occupied to become a better person. This can mean improving yourself educational wise or spiritual wise.  There is always something you can improve on. This is one of the first steps in the pyramid of success and this is because if you won't take time to improve yourself, then you will most likely not be able to complete any of the other steps. Hard work pays off at the end.
Block 2: Enthusiasm
"It is the engine that powers all blocks of the pyramid. It is why I chose Industriousness and Enthusiasm as the cornerstones of my pyramid of success. It is where everything begins."
When you are enthusiastic you are ready to do whatever you have to do. Enthusiasm is what strives a person to complete their goals and have a fun time doing it. Enthusiasm is also very useful when you play a sport or try anything that is competitive because you will be eager to go out there and give it your best shot. An example of enthusiasm is if your teacher says that there will be a test next class. If you are enthusiastic and want to take it, you will study eagerly and when it comes to the test you will pass because you are looking forward to it and you studied.

Block 3: Friendship
"Comes from mutual esteem, respect and devotion. Like marriage it must not be taken for granted but requires a joint effort."
Image result for friendship success     If you want to have more opportunists in life and want to have people you can trust and depend on you have to start to make friendships with people devoted to be successful. If you start to befriend people who do not have goals for themselves then it is likely that they will not be helpful to you or they will bring you down. You have to befriend people who have goals for themselves because if you hang out with people who want to be successful, they could influence you to do better. Also, when you have friends, they might be able to hook you up with certain things. If you want to get a job, one of your friends might know someone who is hiring. If you need help on an assignment, you can depend on a friend. But, friendships aren't a one way thing, you will also have to there when your friends need you.

Block 4: Loyalty
"To yourself and all those depending upon you. Keep your self-respect."
Image result for loyaltyWhen you are loyal, it means that you always stand by someones side or your own. Being loyal means being committed to what you believe is right. A great example of being loyal is a dog, a dog is always loyal to his owner and his family. Another example of being loyal is when you are in a relationship with someone. You have to be committed to that person only and don't do anything to disrespect them. Another example of this is when a friend asks you to back them up in a certain situation and you have to be down for your homies and always have their back. But, you should always check in with your friends before you decide to do something for them because what you might believe they want might not actually be the thing they wanted. One way to be loyal to yourself is by not doing anything that will damage your body such as smoking, drinking, doing drugs, or getting tattoos. Being loyal to yourself means getting yourself the best education you can and doing what's right. Being loyal means choosing what is best for you and those around you. Being loyal is important because it will help you build relationships which are beneficial if you ever need help with anything because you can depend on those who can depend on you.

Block 5: Cooperation
"With all levels of your co-workers. Listen if you want to be heard. Be interested in finding the best way, not in having your own way."
Image result for cooperation     When you are cooperative it means that you are willing to collaborate onto an agreement. One of the reasons that cooperation is a good trait to develop is because in the work place, lots of corporations is going to be necessary to be effective in the work place. Cooperation skills can be developed in school when you cooperate with the other students to complete a group assignment. Another example of cooperation is when you are playing a sport. This is a important block in the pyramid of success because when if you don't have ambition then it is not likely you will complete any goals. An example of where ambition would be essential is when you want to get into your dream school. Hundreds of thousands of students compete to get into one certain school and it is competitive because everyone wants to strive to enter the same school so you must have ambition to tell you that you will make it into that school and you have to work hard for what you really want in life. Ambition can also be used in small situations. Another example of where you might see ambition is in a sport game. Everyone wants to win and the winner would most likely be the one who strives for first. Ambition is really important because ambition is the motivation we have to live our lives.

Block 7: Self-Control
"Practice self discipline and keep emotions under control. Good judgement and common sense are essential."
Image result for self control     When you have self control it means that you are able to do your work or achieve a goal without letting your emotions play a role in your accomplishments because they can bring you down. Self control is very necessary because it is unprofessional to let your emotions out when you are conducting business. An example of this can be when you are at school making a presentation. You have to remember that you have to do the best you can and not emotions play a role in your presentation because if you get mad a t a comment or react on it based on emotion it will make you look bad. You have to have control over yourself because if you don't, you won't go far in life. Image result for alertness     Alertness plays a role in being successful because you have to see the dangers that can occur due to your actions. You always have to be alert and on your toes ready to go. If you are never alert then you will not be prepared when the situation calls for it. An example of when alertness can play a role is when you are trying to see who is fake and who is not when making friends. If you can't catch it when they show they are fake and you aren't aware to know you will be setting yourself up.  Another example of alertness is when there is something bad that's about to happen like a car accident. If you join you can't just leave whenever you want, you need to see it out to the end, win or lose. Having initiative is an important skill to develop because it is what will allow you to have the edge on others who might compete against you for the same achievement. Another example where you might need to show initiative is when you go on a protest or strike. You need to make sure the audience gets your message and knows what you're talking about. You have to fight for change and what you believe in.

This is an important building block on the pyramid block of success. An example where this building block would be used would be for a competitive player. You should have your mind set on your goals but you shouldn't bring others down to accomplish yours.

Block 11: Sincerity
This means that you keep old connections with friends you have made over time. This is an important building block because you need to keep old friendships active because you don't know when you might need some help or a favor to call.

Block 12: Adaptability (to any situation)
When you are able to adapt to any environment or situation you are put on, then you will be able to make something out of your life because not everyone can be able to do that. An example of this is when you are in a new class. The sooner you are able to adapt to a new class, the sooner you will start to learn more effectively. This skill can be compared to an animals skill in the wild to adapt. If an animal is not able to adapt to its new environment then it's likely that it will not survive. Being able to new situations will improve the chances of you being successful.

Image result for conditioned     To condition yourself, it means to get use to doing something. Where that means waking up at a certain time everyday or doing all your chores without being asked. This is a important skill to learn because when you are conditioned you don't have to really think about the thing you are conditioned to do. An example of this can be, doing your homework as soon as you get home. Being conditioned will keep you on track because it is almost like an automatic response to do whatever you are conditioned to do.

"A knowledge of and the ability to properly and quickly execute the fundamentals. Be prepared and cover every little detail."

An example of this is when you are taking a test. When you have studied and learned the skill, you will have an advantage on the test.  Another example of this is when playing a sport. The one who has learned the skill the most is most likely the one who has practiced more.𝍏䷷䷷䷷🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻

"A genuine consideration for others. An eagerness to sacrifice personal interest or glory for the welfare of all."
When you have team spirit, you are willing to slow down your own paste to make sure you go up as a team and not as individuals. An example of team spirit is when you are playing a sport in school. If you want to show team spirit, you should be the one cheering the team up and helping them to improve. Another example is you putting yourself before the team so everyone can go up. This is a selfless act which will gain you respect from others. Being selfless for the team is one of the strongest actions you can act out that will earn you respect from the rest of the team.Team spirit means to motivate others to do well.

Block 16: Honesty (In thought and Action)
"Honesty is the best policy." - Ben Franklin
Image result for honesty    Honesty is one of the most searched for character trait. To be honest means to tell the truth at all time. Block 17: Resourcefulness (Proper Judgment)
"Make the most out of what you have."  (Anonymous)

Being poise can improve your relationships because it is easier to make friends if you always present yourself as a positive person.

Block 19: Confidence
When you have confidence, you don't show any fear and you are not nervous. When you are confident, you feel certain about something. Confidence is something really looked for in jobs that require speeches or anything that is professional. Confidence is when you believe in yourself and over come your fear.

Block 20: Reliability (Creates Respect)

When you are reliable you are trustworthy of getting your part done. An example of this is when you are planning out an event. The people who are responsible for the event planning and making are people who are reliable. If an unreliable person was put to set up the event, there is a chance that they will not do there part. Reliability is very important when you are applying for a job because no one wants to hire someone who is not responsible.

Block 21: Fight (Determined Effort)

Image result for fight     When I say fight as one of the blocks I don't mean it in the sense of fighting with someone to cause physical harm but to put on a challenge to prove or show you point on something. Another way that the word fight could be seen as is when you are going through a rough time but you have to fight through it and get better. An example of this is a lawyer because they fight for their clients to win.

Block 22: Competitive Greatness
"Be at your best when your best is needed. Enjoyment of a difficult challenge"

Integrity means you have set standards for yourself and what to keep a clean image of yourself. If no one had integrity then they would have no real respect themselves An example of this could be anyone. When a person lies, their integrity can be turned into something meaningless since their word is meaningless.

Block 24: Faith (Through prayer)
"Believe and Achieve. Positive belief."
Image result for faith
To have faith means to have confidence in someone or something. Having faith is an example of having trust. When you are faithful you don't have any doubts. The reason why faith is important is because without it no one will be successful. If no one had faith in themselves, the world wouldn't be the same. With faith a person could have the confidence to go after a certain career in life.  Another example in which faith could be used is when you are going through troublesome times and you can't think of anything else to do that will help you out. Faith through prayer can be soothing a person because that might have been the way that person was raised. Faith through prayer isn't some sort of metrical, it's a way for a person to make themselves feel psychologically better.

Block 25: Patience
                                                         "Good things take time"
Image result for patience     Having patience is an important building block in the pyramid of success because without patience, you wouldn't be able to wait for the good things in life to happen and you won't have an enjoyable life. Having patience is a great skill that someone should develop as early as they can because when you are patient, you are able to out wait other people who are also as patient as you. This can come into hand in a real life situation, such as when you are waiting in line for something. Someone who is inpatient wouldn't be able to wait in line for a long time without getting frustrated. When you are patient, you are able to enjoy life better knowing you have gotten everything you need by being patient and waiting your turn. Another example of patience is life itself. Many of the things we earn has to deal with patience. We go to college because we know that if we are patience and study rather than finding a job right out of high school, then we could get an even better career later once you've spent more time at school.

To have clarity is to have your mind set on your goals. If you want to be successful in life you have to have a plan. You have to have everything planed out and set and have to think about all of the situations that could occur and get in way to your success. Another way that the word clarity can be interpenetrated as could be to sober up and keep your body health and away from drugs and alcohol.
Image result for clarityFocus on the path that will lead you to successes. If you don't have any goals that you won't be successful.  When you clear your mind, you get a new start of ideas and can make plans to be successful.

Key 2: Competence

Image result for competence     When you are working on your homework or a school assignment you need to always complete it and not leave any park undone. When you want to be successful you need to complete everything and not leave things incomplete. Successful people do not turn in ideas or projects that are not done. Turning work that is incomplete is unprofessional and will not make you a successful or responsible person. An example of this can be when you are applying for a job. If you have a resume that is incomplete then you very unlikely to get that job because incompleteness shows that you are not responsible and unreliable. To be a person who can use competence in a perfect manner you have to develop other skills that will assist you in being a competent.

Key 3: Concentration
One important way to make sure that you can be the best you and a way to personal power. you should always stay focus and stay on track. When you are taking a test you don't pass by getting off track, you have to stay focus and finish your current goal to complete you future goals/ your main goals in life. A real situation you might find yourself one day can be when you are being interviewed for a job. You can't get distracted because you will ruin the chances of you getting that position. Concentration also plays a key role when you are playing a skilled game such as chest or checkers. You have to keep track and stay concentrated to prevent the opponent from beating you due to you not paying attention to a move that was played. Concentration is one of the most important rules to be successful.

Key 4: Common Sense
Image result for common sense
To be a successful person and how to be the best you, you have to have common sense. Common sense is something we all have but some of us don't use it. Having common sense means just knowing the simple things in life. One example of this is knowing what to expect your grade to look like when you don't do your homework. Without common sense no one would be successful in life. You should also think things threw before you try them. As well as to learn from your mistakes and set backs. You should also be training your mind on a daily basis to improve your knowledge and critical thinking skills. Common sense is one of the only things that you are born with that can get you far in life if you know how to use it.

Key 5: Creativity
When you are a creative person you get more ideas then others and that is a good thing because inventions are just ideas thought up by creative people before they are invented. One example in which creativity is needed is in certain games and as well in school. I remember that in certain assignments you get points for creativity and if there's no creativity then you will lose points. Creativity will help you reach your best personal power because creativity is a great way to get problems solved because you can think outside the box and you don't limit yourself.

Key 6: Concideration
When I say consideration I mean that you have to consider everything that could happen due to a choice you make. Also, this key which is consideration can be used when you have to think about others before you choose to make an action. By think about others, I mean that you have to think abut how they would feel or think when something is said or done. It is great to be considerate because you should want everyone to like you because when people like you, they can put in a work for you. When I say, put in a word for you, I mean that they can back you up when you are in a bad position. An example of this can be when you are blamed or falsely accused of a crime you didn't commit. If a person such as a principle or teacher like you, they could help you and back you up because they know that you are a great person. Being considerate will get you for in life and help you be more well liked by others.

When you are consistent you are never dropping, you aren't going down. Being consistent means to not increase nor decrease, it means to be effective over time. Being consistent at work is a great way to keep your job because when you are consistent at work, you are still putting in as much work as when you started to the job with the best amount of effort. Consistency is also something very important to athletes of all castigators. This is because if an athlete starts to show signs that they are slowing down, then it might be a early sign of losing.

Key 8: Commitment

Image result for commitment     When you want to be the best version of yourself, you have to be committed. To be committed means to no give up and stay true to yourself. When you are committed you are saying that you are going to do something and you stay true to your words. A great example of this is when you are getting married. When you get married it means that you are committed to only being with the partner you married an you have to stay loyal to your choice. But usually, people who get married aren't really prepared and that's why lots of people get divorced. Another example of being committed is when you get yourself a gym membership. Most people only go for a week or two when they buy a membership but, you should be committed to going to the gym since you bought a long-term membership. School can also be a commitment. A commitment can also be seen as a promise you make to yourself or to others.

Key 9: Courage
To have courage means to stand up for what's right. To have courage means to be brave and take action in your life. It means to not let opportunities just go way, you have to take every shot you got to be successful. An example of this can be, going into an interview for a job that you really want. If you did not have courage, you would probably not be brave enough to go in and give it all you got. You could be a bit nervous and not do as well as you hoped for and not get the job. When you are courage you don't let fear get in your way of doing what you want exactly how you want it. Another example of this can be when you are presenting your IDP in school. If you are not courageous then you might be a bit nervous which can effect your performance hence, you get get deducted points off your final grade for the presentation. Another example of being courageous can be in

Reflection on Winter Break

During my winter break I didn't do much. Some of the things that I did were hangout with my cousin, watch movies, go out to eat, as well as go to my cousins house for a birthday party. In the first week of the winter break I went over to my cousins house and we went to Carlos Jr. and we played video games at his house. The second week of the break I celebrated Christmas and New Years at my cousins and we played GTA 5 in the living room. The third week of winter break I went to the San Fernando Valley by Sylmar to go to my nephews birthday party. In the party they had a table full of candy for the kids but I still got some candy throughout the duration of the party. I also got kicked out of my room on the last week of the break because my brother's wife and kids moved in so now i sleep in the living room.
